THE COMBAT MEDICAL POUCH

a.k.a. “Blow-Out Kit”

Tactical Medics International is pleased to offer Blow-Out kits. Widely used by military and civilian tactical operators, these kits contain the immediate life saving materials for self-aid and buddy-aid in the absence of a tactical medic. These kits fit easily into vest pouches or BDU pockets and can be worn on a duty belt.

Our standard blow out kit contains the following supplies in a black zippered pouch (7x6x2 inches):

• Nasopharyngeal Airway (NPA)
• Oropharyngeal Airway (OPA)
• Vaseline Gauze
• Kerlix Roller Gauze
• Tampon
• Israeli Dressing/Emergency Trauma Bandage
• Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT)
• Package of QuikClot
• Combat Pill Pack Container
• Pair of EMT Shears
• Pair of Surgical Gloves

Kits can be custom ordered with any supplies, including the Asherman Chest Seal and HemCon dressing.  Pouches are available in a variety of colors.  The standard kit sells for $90.00 +S&H.

THE CAMELBAK™ MEDBAK™

Tactical Medics International is pleased to offer the medical supplies to fill the CamelBak MedBak and BFM carrier/hydration system.  Used by military and civilian tactical operators and medics, these kits contain immediate and life-saving first-aid materials.  The MedBak fits into the CamelBak BFM carrier/hydration system.  Heat illness and dehydration are the number one cause of non-traumatic death in tactical operations…..and they are entirely preventable.  Because this well-designed and well-constructed system offers the advantage of an integrated hydration system, these medical packs are far superior to their predecessors such as the STOP II bag. 

Tactical Medics International will custom build the MedBak to any specifications or agency needs.  Training on how to utilize the contents of the kit is also provided by TMI for an additional fee.  Our recommendation for the basic MedBak includes:
