In addition, TMI is capable of fully-staffing a medical team for any specific Law Enforcement Agency.  For example, if the East Douglasville Police Department SWAT Team wanted to add to or start or add a tactical medical program, TMI could provide a turnkey solution.  Oftentimes, this would get solved by the East Douglasville Police Chief talking to the East Douglasville Fire Chief about providing medics for their SWAT program.  However this frequently ends badly.  Most of the time these relationships fail because the Chiefs change positions, and new personnel do not support the previous policies or arrangements.  There are also the problems of training, equipment, supplies, insurance, and overtime pay. 

Another large, yet frequently unnoticed problem (at least until it is too late) is the issue of medical direction.  In this example, it is typically the Medical Director for the East Douglasville Fire Department who would provide the medical direction to the TEMS Medics.  Unfortunately, many EMS Medical Directors are unfamiliar with the unique needs of the TEMS medics, …. and are very familiar with standard EMS protocols.  Thus, they often fail to provide appropriate medical direction and protocols for these medics in very atypical environments.

Tactical Medics International is able to circumvent personalities, politics, and logistical issues by providing a turnkey solution.  In the aforementioned example, the East Douglasville Police Chief would outsource the medical needs for his SWAT team to TMI.  TMI would visit to East Douglasville, and hire the city's best medics (probably from the fire department) and ask them to work for TMI as their off-duty job.  TMI would then training them, equip them, insure them, and provide them with advanced protocols and medical direction.  TMI can do this better and more efficiently than the East Douglasville Fire Department, and ultimately provides the East Douglasville Police Department with the best product / service available.
