TMI conducting research into heat illness and hydration

TMI continues to be the “tip of the spear” when it comes to research into heat illness and hydration in the Tactical Athlete. In addition to inventing the KEHIS Scale, and introducing the Urine Color Chart to the tactical community, TMI continues to research topics on behalf of Law Enforcement and the U.S. Military. TMI members remain consultants and investigators into these topics, and K-9 heat illness, cooling vests, and ballistic vests.

TMI adds new instructors

As TMI’s demand grows, several new instructors have been added to the TMI Cadre. Please welcome these new individuals. All TMI Instructors are extremely well-qualified, vetted, and are graduates of TMI courses. Most TMI instructors are hand selected from the class they attended, as they stood out among their classmates and were noticed by the faculty. If you are interested in becoming a member of our faculty, please make that known to the director of the course that you attend. We will keep an eye on you and see if you have what it takes.

TMI Denounces Voodoo Medicine

In a recent interview with a national publication, TMI denounced voodoo medicine, witchcraft, sorcery, and other forms of magical medicine. TMI urges consumers to thoroughly investigate all vendors and to ensure that all techniques instructed are medically and tactically sound, and have been actually vetted/utilized in tactical/combat settings (i.e., battlefield-tested, and not just obscure theory). All TMI instruction is valid, reliable, and evidence-based.

TMI TEMS Instructors become POST-Certified Law Enforcement Instructors
